Description
The Porsche Cayenne. 2003. An SUV from a pure sports car brand. That certainly shook up the automotive world. Ultimately, it was a huge success. Demand was high, and together with the Boxster and the 996, the Cayenne has played a major role in the success of the Porsche brand to this day. It is fair to say that it has aged elegantly. Porsche has significantly improved the facelift model, particularly in terms of comfort, build quality and fuel consumption.
A beautiful 2007 Cayenne S is currently in our Selected Classics collection. It features beautiful deep gloss black metallic paint, original silver 21-inch Porsche Cayenne turbo rims, matt aluminium-coloured trim on the bodywork, a brown/black full leather interior with matt aluminium-coloured inlays and the optional leather package for the dashboard, doors and centre console. Last but not least: this Cayenne also has the optional GTS package that completes it. Tastes differ, but a Cayenne of this generation doesn't get much more beautiful than this. Hardly any signs of wear, only 156,000 kilometres in 18 years, and a complete and verifiable maintenance history. In short: a Cayenne just the way you want it. Especially with the laundry list of expensive, original Porsche options that characterise this car. These include leather, 12-way adjustable comfort seats with memory function and seat heating, dual zone climate control, cruise control, Porsche Communication Management with Bose audio (PCM = audio, navigation and telephone, from 2007 of course), Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM = adjustable air suspension (both ride height and damping), xenon lighting, rear seat heating, all-round parking sensors, large sliding/tilting panoramic roof and so on.
This beautiful full-size SUV drives well. The wonderfully sounding 385 hp V8 has little trouble with this Porsche, which is not exactly light. When driving calmly, it is barely audible, but when asked to do more, it makes itself heard with a beautiful, full, sporty and, unfortunately, dying V8 sound. The adjustable air suspension ranges from pleasantly comfortable to sporty and tight. With its sensitive steering, this large car takes corners with surprising precision and manoeuvrability. It seems to shrink around you, as only a Porsche can, but with plenty of room for four to five passengers and all their luggage. This is an excellent opportunity to become the owner of this beautiful and highly versatile SUV.
