Description
The BMW Z4 from the second series is a permanent fixture in the Selected Classics collection and highly sought-after among sporty convertible and coupé drivers. With us, only the six cylinders, which also make this car so special. We have already supplied all kinds of variants to many satisfied car enthusiasts. From the 23i to the 35i. But now we have one from the outer category. A 3.5iS, which was tuned shortly after its first registration in 2011, both in terms of hardware and also software, by the renowned German tuner Schmickler Performance (www.schmickler-performence.de).
The tuning has proven itself over 10 years and 100,000 kilometres and the car still accelerates, shifts and steers like new, as well as lying on the road like a log. The variable shock absorbers of the slightly lowered, M performance chassis, in combination with the modified Eibach springs and H&R stabilisers, make for very tight and precise steering, but even with the dampers in the soft setting, surprisingly comfortable. The car was further fitted with additional cooling and chiptuning stage two by Schmickler. The original invoice, the very strict German TUV approval and power diagram are present, as well as the full, documented service history at the BMW dealer. In terms of acceleration, we have to think in a separate category for a moment. As you may know, not the least sports cars have been sold by us over time, but this is certainly one of the fastest if not the very fastest. Over 400bhp and 540Nm of torque on less than 1600kg vehicle weight. After carefully warming up the car, of course, the party can begin, but take care! Make sure you have plenty of space and an empty wide road. What follows is unimaginable acceleration that goes on and on even well above 200 km/h. Certainly comparable to the brand's M (3,4 and 5) models. The standard acceleration time of the 35 iS is already within 4.8 seconds to 100 km/h. This BMW goes well below that. On dry roads, thanks to the M limited slip differential, the car can release its power surprisingly well. In the rain, however, this sports car requires some control and caution.
The white exterior colour, the high-gloss gun metal grey painted, original BMW M- performance, 19-inch wheels, with brand new top rubber from Vredestein.
