Description
The second-generation BMW Z4. Then the first production cycle with the famous six-cylinder inline engines. Praised many times in these texts for its unrivalled running culture, smoothness and power. Later, these were unfortunately replaced by 4 cylinder turbo engines by BMW. You can already see that younger examples of this series, with the 4 cylinders, are worth less than the older ones with the 6 cylinders. That actually says it all. In combination with the quick and smooth shifting 6-speed automatic transmission, which can also be used manually with steering wheel controls. Enjoy every moment as you please. This is how a BMW sports car should be. This second generation is more spacious and comfortable than the first, without sacrificing sportiness. With this powertrain, it really is a classic in the making. Coupé, GT and roadster in one. So both top for the long highway drive to the sunny south and for the alpine pass along the way.
We managed to get hold of another particularly beautiful example in almost new condition, with very minor signs of use. The beautiful glossy havanna brown/grey metallic paint, with the original 18-inch BMW sports rims, combined with the cream/sand-coloured full leather interior with high-gloss dark brown wood trim, truly a picture. This 2.5 litre 6 cylinder with 204 hp and automatic transmission really drives like new. Not surprising with only 70000 kilometres in 13 years and fully serviced up to and including the last service, which can be read in the fully completed service book.
On top of that, this example is also equipped with a laundry list of attractive options, such as Xenon headlights, BMW navigation and audio professional with i-drive controls, full leather upholstery, 10-way adjustable sports seats with seat heating, dual zone climate control, cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, automatic dimming interior mirrors, original BMW 19-inch rims with almost new top rubber from Michelin (Pilot sport 4). This coupé convertible with hardtop is a joy to drive in both summer and winter. The early six-cylinder models with low mileage will become absolutely sought-after classics in the future.
