Description
The Porsche Boxster 981. A fully-fledged sports car or entry-level supercar, whichever you prefer. This time in the base model with a 2.7-litre engine producing 265 hp. The big question always remains: do you need an S? In principle, this beautiful roadster is perfectly balanced with this engine. And yes, for faster acceleration, you do need to rev it a bit higher than an S. That’s actually quite fun and makes it more accessible. For public roads, you simply have more than enough power, and this 2.7 version leaves a very lively impression. For ultimate performance, there are still the S and the GTS.
The agate grey 981 currently in our collection stands out in several aspects. It has a fully documented service history, carried out at the Porsche dealer. In addition to the stamped service book, all accompanying documents are also present. Apart from the boot lid, the car is entirely in its original paintwork. Then there is the specification. The agate grey paintwork, combined with the cognac beige leather and Alcantara interior, featuring polished aluminium trim, the dark burgundy soft top in mint condition, and the original 19-inch Porsche Boxster S alloy wheels, fitted with Pirelli (P-Zero) tyres. A very attractive car with virtually no signs of wear. The photos say a lot, but you really must see this car in person. The very attractive and distinctive configuration then really comes into its own. The car is also equipped with a large number of original Porsche factory options, including: PCM (Porsche Communication Management = full-map navigation, Bluetooth phone connection with audio streaming, Apple CarPlay module, cruise control, dual-zone climate control, all-round parking sensors, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, light and rain sensor, SCM alarm, heated seats and so on.
What remains unchanged in every 981 – and thus makes this sports car unique – is its stunning looks, particularly in this configuration, the unrivalled balance of the chassis, the ultimate steering feel, the fast-shifting 7-speed PDK gearbox, the highly distinctive and sporty engine note, especially with this original Porsche sports exhaust, the astonishing body rigidity, the perfect seating position and the excellent build quality. A superb and value-retaining Porsche 981 Boxster, in very good condition with very low mileage. All that remains is the balmy summer evening and the quiet, winding B-road, the top down, the sun on your head and the wind in your hair. Driving doesn’t get any better than this. Don’t hesitate – become the proud owner of this fantastic open-top sports car today and make every journey an unforgettable experience.
